A cross-sector conference does not stand on its own. The second edition is built with scientific institutions, public authorities, civil society organisations and companies that share one aim: that marine restoration stops being an exception and becomes ordinary practice, grounded in science and with measurable results.

Official activity of the Ocean Decade
The SeaWilding Conference is recognised as an official activity of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030). The Decade mobilises the scientific community, public authorities and civil society around a common goal: the science we need for the ocean we want. That recognition places the conference within an international framework and commits its programme to evidence and to action.
